“ Good overall Mexican food. Makes homemade tortillas. Good Carne Asada. Open all day and not generally busy. Can get a seat most times without waiting. ”
“ My Wife and I were invited by friends for Dinner at Torero's in Renton. (Renton is kind of crime-sketchy to us; but,) Hey! Mexican food! We jumped in the car. We found Torero's to be in a safe part of Renton. But - street parking only! Not good for an old guy who can't walk very far. But, we made it! Such a nice place inside and out, great atmosphere. And the Staff! They really welcomed us, made us comfortable. When our friends arrived we were seated and the Service was Top Drawer beginning to end. The Food, OMG - the crafters in the kitchen know what they're doing. This was not suburban shopping mall Mexican fare. What we received was so fresh, so good, so well crafted, prepared and presented - and so delicious I wanted to take some home! Torero's is no joke; they're for real; they're proud of their place, their Service and their food and it shows. By the time we finished and were leaving, the line was out the door, people waiting to get in! Do I recommend Torero's? Resounding YES!!! We'll be back to Torero's no doubt. Great place, Great people, Great Service, Great Atmosphere, Great Food. Oh yeah, we're going back! Hint: I had the Molcahete, I was transported back to Puerto Vallarta. Now I need some Carne Asada and some Tacos, I neeeedTacos...! And did I mention the Guacamole..? ”
“ I have enjoyed a few meals at this restaurant so today I tried the queso fresco salad with steak for something different. I wasn't disappointed, It was delicious. The steak was tender and flavorful. ”
“ We've been coming here for so long. It is always nice to see a local restaurant stick around for so long and enjoy it as a kid and an adult. The menu has a good selection of food and margaritas. The service is consistently welcoming and pleasant. The atmosphere is very casual, and Mexican music tunes fill the restaurant. ”
“ First time here to this location at The Landing. Food was pretty good-- I did really like the Chili Relleno. Service was okay, a little slower than I would like. The atmosphere is nice. I am disabled (trouble walking) and the place was easy to get in and out of, and there was plenty of room between tables for me and my Walker. The restrooms were also easy to access, no problems. The big problem: Limited parking. I need to park close to where I am going. This place has no dedicated parking lot. There is some on-street parking but it was all full. My friend dropped me off and had to park 1-1/2 blocks away. That might preclude me from ever coming back. All in all, pretty decent Mexican food. ”
“ My girlfriend and I stopped into Toreros for a light bite and slurps. Free parking can be found on the street. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Toreros offers bar seating as well as a family dining area. We opted to sit in the bar. We snacked on complimentary chips and salsa while looking over the menu. My girlfriend had a Mac & Jack for $7.75 and I had a Negra Modelo for $7. We shared the Ceviche for $18.50: lime marinated shrimp, onions, cilantro, tomato, cucumber and avocado served with tostada shells. We both enjoyed this fresh and light appetizer. Service was friendly and efficient. Overall, if I lived in Renton, Toreros would be part of my dining rotation. ”
